Who is the Lakshmi Goddess?

Lakshmi is a Hindu Goddess that represents financial abundance, security, prosperity, wealth and luxury (both spiritual and physical). When working with the Lakshmi Goddess, we use a vibrational mantra that invokes her spirit and invites Lakshmi energy and wisdom into our life. ⁣⁣⁣

Traditionally in Hindu culture, the mantra would be repeated 108 times in order to invoke the energy of the goddess into our vibrational field.

The Lakshmi mantra is very powerful and works quite quickly. It’s important to note that abundance is directly related to self-worth and our relationship to ourselves, expectations, micro alignments and boundaries.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

When I first started working with Lakshmi, there were a few earthquakes that really broke down my perception of self. They rattled me and broke me right to pieces so that I could see my abundance triggers clear as day (the ones I had been avoiding for a long time). I had to stare these triggers down the barrel, realise they were not true, release their power, and re-create what I truly wanted.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣

When working with Lakshmi, she will show you where your blocks are. She will show you the next step. She will attune your vibrational frequency to seeing new opportunities. She will also make it clear that there are some new ways of seeing things which will require letting go of old ways.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣

What is the Lakshmi Mantra?

“OM SHRIM MAHA LAKSHMI YEI SWAHA”⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣

  1. Set your timer for 10-15 minutes⁣⁣⁣

  2. Set up a meditation space (i.e. a comfortable cushion, candle, incense)⁣⁣⁣

  3. Close your eyes and become aware of your breath⁣⁣⁣

  4. Before you begin repeating the mantra, just allow yourself to feel into your body⁣⁣⁣

  5. When you are ready, begin repeating the mantra either internally or out loud⁣⁣⁣

  6. You can visualise the Lakshmi Goddess, tune into her energy, and invoke her spirit into  your field⁣⁣⁣

  7. At the end, I often visualise myself offering her a gift, and notice what she offers you back⁣⁣⁣

  8. Sign off with a gesture of gratitude, and notice the energy she has left you with⁣⁣⁣
