Raspberry, Chocolate & Rose is a delicious smooth and velvety tart, with fresh chia jam on top for decoration. Raspberry and chocolate is a classic combination, slightly decadent, slightly feminine, with a twist of rose.
This was the top selling sweet treat in my cafes, The Raw Kitchen, and it was also a favourite of mine. The slightly salted, chewy and creamy rich filling was perfectly balanced with a combination of tahini, date, salt, and bitter cacao. Make this recipe for your next dinner party, you can serve it on its own or with some yoghurt and berries.
One of my favourite tart recipes, it’s simple, easy and delicious. It might not be berry season, depending on where you live- you can swap out berries for any fruit in season. At the moment in the Southern Hemisphere, we have an abundance of Persimmon, Kiwifruit, Tamarillo, Feijoa, Citrus and Pear. This beauty is plant based, with a creamy coconut and cashew filling, balanced out with the tart fruit on top.
This tart is so yummy as a refreshing dessert or afternoon tea. It’s very similiar to the traditional lemon curd texture, but without the dairy or sugar. This recipe uses a little bit of grass-fed gelatin to keep it smooth and firm.
A popular question after a client has come in for a session in The Healing Room is, “so when do I come back?”
The answer varies, it would be easy to answer with - “come back in 4-6 weeks” but the truth, is that it is unique to each person and what’s going on for you.
This delicious vegan tart recipe has a smooth chocolate filling and a hint of espresso. The tart crust is crunchy and pairs nicely with the creamy filling, and bitter cacao nibs on top.
This nourishing raw chocolate recipe is too good to be true. So moreish, exactly what you want as an after-dinner sweet. Goes down well with a peppermint tea or chai latte. This excerpt is from my cookbook, The Raw Kitchen.
Many years ago, Bill Gates said “people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in 10 years.” I’ve always used that as a tool to motivate me to work hard knowing that big accomplishments take time. Check out these journalling prompts to help you dig deeper into your goals for the new year.
Who doesn’t love a tart at Christmas. This one is a citrus and coconut blend in a smooth cashew crust. Naturally free of dairy and gluten. Serve on its own or with some yoghurt.
It doesn’t get much better than this. I love making this recipe at ‘that time of the month’ when the chocolate cravings are real. I also love to switch it out for lavender essential oil, peppermint, or wild orange. I use the doterra oils as they are high quality for food grade.
An excerpt from The Raw Kitchen cookbook, this healthy alternative to classic Italian dessert is a crowd pleaser!

These tarts are an impressive Christmas Lunch recipe or a good option for one of those pot lucks this festive season. You will need a bit of extra time to properly make the different components, but if you love the process of taking a slow approach to food, you will love this. The extra time is definitely worth it - and will be an impressive table statement! Not to mention plant based, highly nutritious and extremely delicious.

Lockdown has come with it’s downfalls, but if anything good has come out of it, it has been the opportunity to explore new routines and find new local brands that have emerged over the past year. I have become particularly fond of a few new local products, and I love knowing the story or person behind the business. It’s become more important to me now to support aligned businesses with an authentic background or brand story. Here are a few I love (and potentially some gift ideas for the festive season).
